It adds a robust feel to the Mavic Pro Alpine White while still less than 1 kg that you rarely feel when on the move. The steel metal frame at the bottom houses all the processing units, fans and sensors which gives it a nice accented trim. The gimbal cover silicone is still the same colour which is the only thing that breaks the Alpine White look, but in the grand scheme of things doesn’t matter anyway. I’ll reserve those for my review but in short: this is the same Mavic Pro with an aesthetically cleaner colorway that appeals to both men and women (vs the original grey). It’s still the same compact, smart drone we’ve come to know, both in it’s technical prowess for a nimble aerial flyer, but of course not without its limitations too.

As for the tech its packing inside, you’re looking at a 1/2.3″ CMOS sensor capable of pushing 4K UHD video up to 30fps, Full HD up to 96fps and 12MP still capture (9MP if 16:9). It weights exactly the same at 734 grams with all props, batteries on, 27 minutes flight time in ideal conditions and a foldable design that is stylish yet ergonomically friendly for just about anyone to use. It looks more attractive and friendlier (in my opinion) and doesn’t stick out so much when flying (though notably more difficult to spot in cloudy days) if in populated areas. I have to say after having owned the original and the Alpine White now, I definitely prefer the Alpine White. It’s exactly the same as the original, just with a new lick of paint. I’ve used it ever since I got it to put inside my Peak Design Everyday Backpack and it’s worked perfectly for added assurance when hiking or climbing with a packed load. The inside has a furry soft material inside, which feels really nice tot the touch and added comforts when transporting your Mavic Pro Alpine White edition in either your backpack or dedicated drone bag. It uses a drawstring close system that secures and tightens the sleeve around the Mavic Pro. The aircraft sleeve is actually a surprisingly very good one too. The propellers are the normal sets you would find with the original Mavic Pro, rather than the low-noise propellers of the Mavic Pro Platinum. Let’s focus on some of those accessories and of course the DJI Mavic Pro Alpine White.ġ3 Ways to Prevent Sony A7 IV Overheating

And as usual, drone code safety information and information on all the tech we’ve just uncovered. Two USB 3.0 ports, it’s great to carry with you to charge your remote controller, phone or other devices at the same time as your intelligent battery. Underneath the batteries is a hidden compartment where you’ll find the mains power adaptor. Definitely worthwhile to have those extra batteries…it also matches with the DJI Googles. Together with an Alpine White remote controller, UK 3 pin plug (or variant where you live), you’ll notice the Alpine White intelligent battery – not one, not just two, but THREE. The rest of the box is exposed, revealing the general contents of the Mavic Pro Alpine White, with the drone on the centre. You’ll find the DJI moniker aircraft sleeve on the left and 5 total sets of propellers (a pair already installed on the Mavic Pro). Lift up the lid however and they’ve smartly added flanking lids that house extra goodies. The packaging is largely the same with the Mavic Pro boldly shown in white.
